Is there a cause that has been dear to your heart all your life? Perhaps there’s something that has moved you? Is there anything you would like to pass on to the next generation? A legacy makes it possible to leave a mark that will have a lasting impact. And it provides clarity – for you and for your loved ones.
A legacy gives you the opportunity to support a cultural institution such as ALPS, doing something meaningful that endures beyond your own lifetime. By bequeathing an inheritance or legacy to ALPS you will help to support our activities and ensure that we can keep working on topical issues relating to mountains.
Peter Hofmann and Hans Stark have direct experience of what it really means to pass something on after your own lifetime:
«Our friend’s legacy to ALPS Swiss Alpine Museum has allowed him to leave something to the mountain community that was important to him. He wanted to make a mark that would outlive him. As his friends and companions, we are impressed by his vision and foresight. ALPS has been able to finance a unique exhibition project thanks to his legacy.»
Your passion for the mountains is in good hands at ALPS! We would be happy to advise you on writing a will, inheritance, and legacies, and to present the various options for working with us.
